Colorado Water Data User/Generator Directory:

We are creating an up-to-date, comprehensive directory of watershed groups, organizations, consultants, and industry groups working with water data in Colorado, organized by basin and watershed is in progress.

Special thanks goes to Ms. Emily Kloc who was our Western Hardrock Watershed Team Summer Associate from June to August, 2009. Emily created the directory database from scratch. It is user friendly and will be a valuable online tool for everyone who is interested in Colorado's water quality and quantity. Once online, you will be able to search the database by basin, watershed, and general type of constituents being sampled or by general type of organization.

This effort will promote collaboration and communication within the Colorado water community.

Your contribution will help everyone who is working toward enhancing, protecting, and conserving water quality, watersheds, and the dependent ecosystems provide better and more accessible water quality data statewide. Whether you are a water utility, private citizen, watershed or stakeholder group, Non Point Source grant recipient, local government, state or federal agency, consultant, or project proponent, you benefit from a strong and active CWQMC and our activities from mentoring watershed organizations, coordinating the Colorado Data Sharing Network (CDSN) , and providing individual and group trainings on data management.

Please consider what the services of the Council and the CDSN are worth to you and your organization. CWQMC and CDSN Suggested Financial Support Structure (updated 2009)
