Please Contribute to the efforts of the Colorado Water Quality Monitoring Council and our projects!
Four Ways to Support Us:
(1) Contribute funding (Cash $$) - ANY amount helps. Just 'click' on our secure on-line "EASY" button!
Your contribution will help everyone who is working toward enhancing, protecting, and conserving water quality, watersheds, and the dependent ecosystems provide better and more accessible water quality data statewide. Whether you are a water utility, private citizen, watershed or stakeholder group, Non Point Source grant recipient, local government, state or federal agency, consultant, or project proponent, you benefit from a strong and active CWQMC and our activities from mentoring watershed organizations, coordinating the Colorado Data Sharing Network (CDSN) , and providing individual and group trainings on data management.
The Watershed Swaps are a gathering of all entities in a basin that are engaged in watershed management, collecting data or need data. These Watershed Swaps are networking events hosted by the CWQMC and local watershed leaders and become part of a collective statewide voice for monitoring and watershed issues.
SWAP Sponsors may provide meeting space, audio/video equipment, refreshments, maps, handouts, contact potential attendees, secure lodging, or other items through monetary donations or in-kind donations. Financial donations also help fund the overhead costs of maintaining the water quality database and the on-line interactive GIS map. SWAP Sponsors are given recognition at SWAP events and in post-SWAP Fact Sheets. For more information on sponsoring a SWAP or scheduling one in your basin, please email our staff at:cwqmc@coloradowaterquality.org
