The Colorado Water Quality Monitoring Council serves as a statewide collaborative body, open to all, to help achieve effective goal identification, data collection, data analysis, data retrieval, and reporting/dissemination of water quality data, and monitoring information. WQX Transition Update & Recent Web Updates

Please keep checking back to the WQX Page & AWQMS/WQX Transition Page for the freshest news on the STORET to WQX transition. The Database Transition started August 3rd and was completed September 15. New Data templates, fact sheets, and a PowerPoint presentation have been added to these pages.

Public Login to the Colorado Data Sharing Network Database

The public login to our data is back. You can use our CDSN link to the National Storet Data Warehouse to find water quality data, including the half-million records added during the transition to our new AWQMS system. A public login to AWQMS will be created after Phase 1 of our interactive web map is finished this spring.

New Water Quality Mapping Utility Coming in March 2010!

We plan on adding Version 1.0 of our new water quality data map utility in early March! The new interactive map will be powered by Google Earth technology and will allow users to find and download data. Please consider a donation of any amount to help fund our map effort.

 

Seventh National Monitoring Conference - Monitoring From the Summit to the Sea

Colorado Water Monitoring Council Update:

As of January 2009, our Colorado Data Sharing Network (CDSN) project of the Colorado Water Quality Monitoring Council has secured Non-Point Source funding for 3 more years, the Colorado Watershed Assembly is the new fiscal agent, and the CWQMC and our CDSN project now have two new co-coordinators: Lynn Padgett and Jeff Litteral with a new office in downtown Ridgway. Please let us know how we can better serve you. The Council is able to assist entities on an individual basis as well.  Contact us for further information.  Please consider how you can contribute and keep this truly collaborative and valuable Data Sharing Network moving forward.  Your participation, feedback and support are all essential!
